Jo Malone London delves deep into the forest for latest scents

Jo Malone London has taken inspiration from the forest for its two new scents: English Oak & Hazelnut and English Oak & Redcurrant. Both will be rolling out to travel retail worldwide from September.

English Oak & Hazelnut features green hazelnut atop a heart of cedarwood and a base of roasted oak absolute. The cologne is available in 100ml and 30ml.

English Oak & Redcurrant can be layered with Blackberry & Bay for a fruity combination

English Oak & Redcurrant opens with redcurrant notes while the heart features rose and the base blends roasted oak absolute. The product range comprises: A 30ml and 100ml cologne, Body & Hand Wash (250ml), Body Crème (175ml) and a Home Candle.

Master Perfumer Yann Vasnier said: “Oak is a beautiful, noble wood. It’s powerful and iconic. In perfumery you often find sandalwood and cedarwood, but oak has something unique. It’s majestic and mysterious.”
