William P Hobby Airport, located in Houston, Texas, is one of the busiest airports in the United States and a major hub for travelers from all over the world. It is named after William Pettus Hobby, a former governor of Texas who served from 1917 to 1921. The airport was originally dedicated as a municipal airport in 1927 and was initially owned by the City of Houston. It began operations as an airmail hub for Continental Airlines in 1937 and was later given its current name in 1967.

Today, William P Hobby Airport is home to several airlines including Delta Air Lines, Southwest Airlines, American Airlines, JetBlue Airways, Sun Country Airlines and Frontier Airlines. The airport serves over 13 million passengers annually with over 140 daily departures to more than 45 non-stop destinations across the United States and Mexico.
