Jinnah International Airport, also known as Karachi International Airport, is a major international airport located on the outskirts of Karachi, Pakistan. It is one of the busiest airports in the world and serves as a hub for various airlines, including Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) and Air Blue. The airport was originally built in 1937 as an airstrip and ground facility to serve the needs of British-India Airways. After gaining independence in 1947, it was renamed Jinnah International Airport after Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the first Governor-General of Pakistan. Today, it covers an area of over 5500 acres and features two runways with a total length of more than 20 km.

The airport has two terminals with a capacity of handling up to 22 million passengers annually. Terminal 1 serves domestic flights while Terminal 2 serves international flights along with VIP lounges and private jets. The airport also offers cargo services which include freight forwarding, mail services and catering facilities for perishable goods.
