Alghero-Fertilia Airport (AHO) is a public airport located in the Italian province of Sassari, just 2.7 miles north of the city of Alghero, on the northwest coast of Sardinia. It is an important gateway for tourists visiting this beautiful Mediterranean island and one of the most important airports in Italy.
The airport was built by the Italian Air Force in 1938 and was handed over to civilian authorities after World War II in 1947.
