The eighth largest carrier in the United States, Hawaiian Airlines (HA) is Hawaii’s biggest airline. It is headquartered in Honolulu and operates from hubs at Honolulu Airport (HNL) and Kahului Airport (OGG). It was founded in 1929 as Inter-Island Airways. The carrier flies to about 40 destinations. Of these, 16 are domestic airports, 11 of which are on the mainland. International destinations include Australia, China, French Polynesia, Japan, New Zealand and South Korea.
