Over an hour to get our luggage.

★★★★★
Disappointingly homogeneous - clean, efficient, easy to navigate. Could be pretty much anywhere in the world, a Burger King was opening shortly after we left. All of the planes passing through were Boeing or Airbus. The only sign that you were a little off the beaten track were the hangars full of old Sukhoi military jets lined up alongside the runway.
- Tim Young

★★★☆☆
Arrivals look pretty dark. Alarmed at the queues for immigration but our flight coincided with arrival of Qatar 772 so we were just unlucky I guess. But queues moved reasonably fast. No need to fill out an arrivals form so that was a plus.
- Hafiz Bam

★★☆☆☆
Notwithstanding the fact that a brand new Terminal is nearing completion, the existing facilities are extremely poor to cater for today's expectations associated with air travel. Queuing at Check-in is random at best and Security is a joke when it comes to diligence when scanning hand baggage. Hopefully, the new Terminal will provide facilities that are more conducive to travelling to and from this amazing city.

getting to airport is far ! I'ts about 40km ! So I must get up early . Check in is slow, but security check is good. Say about facilities: not good. Wifi is slow, so i must use 3G to look for email and chat in Facebook. The food is delicious, but there quite expensive. The lounge is hot !

★★★★★
The new Hanoi international terminal 2 opened at the end of December 2014, excellent and well planned, a big improvement on the old terminal. It only took me a few minutes to check in and pass the security, very efficient happy helpful staff all the way.

★☆☆☆☆

Nice new terminal. Very fast and easy to navigate. Big improvement over the old terminal for arrivals and departures.
