Clinique’s latest serum gears up for Accelerated Renewal

[vc_column width=”2/3″]Clinique has extended its Turnaround revitalising range with new Turnaround Accelerated Renewal Serum. The product will be introduced to travel retail worldwide from September.

Turnaround Accelerated Renewal Serum concentrates on stimulating the turnover of cells to encourage a more glowing complexion through exfoliation and by combating environmental aggressors, according to Clinique.

The formula is based around Multi-Renewal Technology, combining chelation technology and multi-tiered exfoliation:

Chelation technology uses an anti-oxidant blend and rice ferment to help remove common heavy metals that get trapped on the skin’s surface. The presence of these metals are said to result in dullness, poor texture and the slowing down of the cell renewal process.

Multi-tiered exfoliation is claimed to fast track natural cell turnover with creatine, acetyl carnitine and adenosine phosphate. Clary extract nurtures the development of skin cells to smooth and refine the complexion. Chestnut seed extract and soy amino acids are said to gently stimulate the skin and activate natural enzymes to loosen dead skin cells. The inclusion of citric acid and salicylic acid also promotes skin cell resurfacing to improve the look and feel of the complexion.

Soya bean seed extract is included in the formula to minimise the appearance of pores together with laminaria saccharina extract to control sebum production. Polymer technology in the form of translucent polysilicone-11 fills in fine lines, pores and surface imperfections to help skin appear flawless, said Clinique. Mica, which diffuses light off the skin, is said to help it look brighter and more radiant.
