Chiang Mai International Airport is the major airport servicing the northern Thai city of Chiang Mai. The airport operates 24 hours a day, accommodating both domestic and international flights. It is currently the fifth busiest airport in Thailand, after Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang airports, Phuket International Airport and Hat Yai International Airport.

The airport has two terminals, Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 which serve both domestic and international passengers. Terminal 1 handles all arrivals while Terminal 2 is used for all departures.
