  • 800 cigarettes, 200 cigars, or 1 kg of tobacco
  • 110 litres of beer
  • 10 litres of spirits
  • 90 litres of wine
  • 20 litres of fortified wine

What are the limits on duty free cigarettes/alcohol at Brno Airport from outside the EU

If you are entering Czech Republic from a country outside of the EU, then your allowance changes to the amounts listed below. Again, these must be for your own personal use. If you intend to sell the goods or if you go over these allowances, then you may have to pay duty and/or tax).

Horrible airport. Stupid people inside. So modern for 2x regular flights.. as usual... airport=corruption from Brno Politics
- alquivir

Once you pass security and passport check (gate 5), no chance to buy any drink or food, especially if your flight is delayed. Personal is rude and passengers are treated as a victims in hell.. I've spent 3 hrs in this airport conditions.. Nightmare..
- Libor Krak

Clean but uncomfortable. Rude & impolite staff. after Sec. very limited chance to buy some drinks or food. Just one girl is staff in refreshments store (if is not closed...) Just one possitive: WiFi without restrictions and for free...

Smoking AREA !!!!!!!

A small provincial airports with its ups and downs. Getting there is an easy 28-minute bus ride from Brno central station, with convenient connections to Prague, Bratislava and Vienna. Only 6 gates and a single security checkpoint, two shops and a basic cafeteria. Were it not for the overzealous security staff, flying from BRQ is like taking a train.

Unlike the airline Brno airport is a shambles!!! The airport is completly crowded with no were to seat. Yes its modern but its tiny!!! There are only 3 places to shops. Two Reasturants and one duty free. Than you need to make your way to one of the 7 gates (which they never use). If your travelling with Ryanair to London Stansted than your most likely to board via gate no.5 this is because you need to go thourgh additional security and a passport check. In addition there are only one set of toilets and that is after security. And dont get me started on security!!!
