Shopping on Board
We accept most debit and credit cards which contain the MasterCard, Visa and AMEX symbols or credit cards up to a maximum of 250 €. If you pay your shopping onboard with your airberlin Visa Card, you will be credited with va- luable award miles. Cash payments can be made in euro (bank notes of up to 100 € value and coins of 1 € and 2 €), Swiss Francs and U.S. Dollars. All prices are quoted in euro as the base currency. Change will be given in euros unless local currency is available. For payments made by credit card/debit card you will be asked to present your passport or similar or ID. Please make sure that you receive a receipt for your purchase. We hope you will understand that for reasons of weight or lack of stowage space some of the items shown on the
catalogue might not be available.
Our ight attendants will advise you regarding
an alternative, if your choice is not available. In addition we have regular special o ers – real
bargains – for you.
These special o ers represent a considerable saving on normal retail prices. Our ight atten- dants will be pleased to tell you more about our current o ers. Passengers are not permitted to consume alcoholic drinks onboard unless they have been purchased from our bar.

Transfer Passengers
We would like to draw your attention to the EU-Regulation on hand baggage. If your ight involves a stopover in Europe / Germany you are only allowed to take liquids, which are bought in an airport shop outside the EU, if they are in a special standardized Duty-Free bag.
